Uploader's Research notes: Source: LAC files [Lieutenant Army Canadian Army Service Corps 3rd Divisional Supply Column Posted to the Motor Transport School at St Omer on arrival in France on June 20, 1916. Transferred to the Third Divisional Supply Column August 05. Applied for transfer to the BEF in September 1917, was was posted to the CASC Depot, Shorncliffe on October 03, 1917, pending release from the CEF to the BEF. Lieutenant Army Canadian Army Service Corps No 2 Company Volunteered for overseas duty at Exhibition Park, Toronto, when No 2 Company, CASC mobilized. Embarked for overseas February 05, landed in England February 16, 1916. Posted to CASC Training Depot. Lieutenant Army Canadian Army Service Corps Training Depot Posted to CASC Training Depot on arrival in England. Lieutenant Army Royal Garrison Artillery 80th Heavy Artillery Group 176th Siege Battery Transferred from the CEF. Commissioned into the Royal Garrison Artillery on December 07, 1917. Sent to Italy as a signals officer in January 1918. Became ill, and evacuated to hospital in Genoa. Returned to England to recuperate. Died of unspecified illness at London Military Hospital. ]
