Uploader's Notes: 16 months prior service with Belgian Army. Discharged on September 14, 1918 to re-enlist with the RAF.
Post war, he returned to Belgium where he lived throughout World War 2. Working closely with German authorities, he was responsible for the capture of several hundred Allied soldiers and airmen attempting to evade capture. He was arrested after the war, tried and found guilty. On September 17, 1948, Dezitter was executed by a gendarme firing squad in Brussels.
