Son of James E. and Ellen M. Bach (nee Lambert),of 139 Glengrove Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. S/Lt Lambert Bach was born May 15,1898 and was the eldest of four children. Harry and Arthur, twins, were born on May 19,1900 and a sister, Helen, born in 1902, all in Toronto. Lambert's family spent each summer in Southhampton, Ontario where their Grandfather, William McGregor Lambert was the keeper of the Chantry Island Lighthouse for over 50 years. BACH --In loving memory of our son and brother, Lieut. Edward Lambert Bach, R.A.F., who was killed in an aeroplane accident at Freiston, England, Aug. 30th, 1918.
