Obituary for his son (born 1920): At Kingston General Hospital, on Monday, August 4, 2003, James Crossley Stewart, CD, L-Officier de Leopold II Croix de Guerre, MID, BSc. Mil, #2657 RMC Class of -38, Honorary Governor Canadian Corps of Commissionaires. Served in the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery in NW Europe and Korea; and as a peace-time soldier until retirement in 1970. From then until 1990 he was Construction Manager with Homestead Land Holdings Ltd. (Obituary from Robert J. Reid, Book of Memories [online] accessed 20 Aug 2014.
