Uploader's Notes: Son of Hugh and Arabella J. MacDougall, of Cross Roads, Ohio, Antigonish Co., Nova Scotia. Had previously served for three years with 18th Field Battery, Nova Scotia. Older brother of Colin F. MacDougall who served for the US during WWII. Colin was a signal man in the Army and was in the 3rd wave of the DDay invasion at Omaha. He was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge and lived with his disabilities until age 88, dying in 1993. Interesting that he fought so close to where his brother was killed and buried but likely never knew. Colin talked about WWII often but never mentioned how close he had been to his brother's grave, likely not aware it was close enough to have visited.
