Uploader's Notes: Original commanding officer of the 25th Battalion CEF. Served with the 69th Annapolis Regiment of the Militia from 1883 reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in 1904, commanding until 1909. His son Clarence died as a result of injuries suffered in the Halifax explosion in January of 1918 while serving in the Composite Battalion in Halifax.
