Uploader's Notes: Dr. Robert Harold Ker died on March 13, 1930 while visiting London, England with his two sons, John and Robert. He was in poor health for some time prior to his death. After graduating from McGill University with a Doctor of Medicine, Dr. Ker practiced medicine in the West in connection with railway construction and later specialized in genital-urinary surgery in Vancouver. During the Great War, Dr. Ker served overseas with the Canadian Army Medical Corps, and in 1918 was A.D.M.S. (Embarkation), at Halifax, holding the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. Subsequent to the war Dr. Ker had charge of medical services and sanitation on the Gold Coast ofAfrica.
