Uploader's Notes: One year prior military service with 3rd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. 16 years service with Royal North West Mounted Police - he joined the North West Mounted Police in 1900. He took his discharge from the RNWMP in the fall of 1915 to join the CEF. He transferred to the 49th Battalion and served in France where he was wounded, gassed and invalided to England. He was discharged due to his wounds and returned to Canada rejoining the RNWMP. He was serving in the Yukon where he died December 11, 1922.
