Uploader's Notes: CEF Burial Registers - Previously reported Missing believed Killed, now Killed in Action. "On the afternoon of 5-1-17 the enemy opened an intense bombardment of the RIGHT Company Front of our Battalion Sub-Sector. During the bombardment a tour of the Company Front was made. Private Adair and two others were found lying dead under a corrugated metal shelter. A search party organized later could not find any trace of the body, and it is believed they were destroyed by shell fire". Trenches in SOUCHEZ SECTOR S.8.d sheet 36c. S.W.
