Pte. D.W.Monk Killed

Pte. Donald William Monk who has been killed, enlisted in May 1917 with the 255th, but was transferred to the Young Soldiers Battalion when he went to England. In August 1918 when he was nineteen years old he went to France. Before he enlisted he worked for two years with the Regal Film Co. and was then apprenticed as a machinist to the Northern Aluminum Co.
