He attested to the 80th Btn CEF on August 21, 1915 listing his Mother as his next of kin in Rochester.
He was killed in action April 11, 1917 as a member of the 50th Btn. CEF. He was born at Hamilton Prince Edward County.
His Mother received a pension while still at Rochester in 1919.
His Scroll, plaque and memorial cross were sent to his Mother at Kingston Junction Ontario in 1921.
He padded his age by a couple of years at enlistment. He is listed in the World War Service Record Rochester and Monroe County
