Circumstances of Death Registers:

" Died of Wounds " (Accidentally); Was wounded by a bullet accidentally discharged from a revolver by a comrade while in billets in Sains-en-Gohelle . He was immediately taken to No.9 Canadian Field Ambulance where he died the same Day.
