Uploader's Notes: Prior service with 33rd Regiment of Foot, England. Son of Joseph and Elizabeth Craven, of Keighley, Yorks, England. CEF Burial Registers - Died of Wounds - about 7 o'clock on the evening of February 2nd 1918, he was hit by a piece of a high explosive shell, which shattered his thigh. He was carried to a dressing station and immediately evacuated to No. 7 Casualty Clearing Station where he succumbed to his wounds two days later.
