[Private Army Canadian Infantry 1st Depot Battalion, Saskatchewan Regiment D Company Sapper Army Canadian Engineers Canadian Engineers Depot Trained at 10th Military District Engineers Depot, Winnipeg prior to proceeding to St John, Quebec. The file is unclear on his actual departure date and port. He was assigned to the 85th Draft of Canadian Engineers, and sailed aboard SS Pannonia either from Montreal on July 27 or Halifax on August 03, landing in England on August 15. Posted to Seaford Camp on arrival in England.
