Uploader's Notes: While taking part with his Battalion in an attack on the enemy trenches South West of Thelus, he was wounded in both legs by piece of a shell which burst nearby. He was immediately attended to by comrades and evacuated to No. 1 Canadian Field Ambulance where he succumbed.
