RESEARCH INFORMATION

Uploader's Notes:

The following appeared in the Toronto World on 07 June 1917. This likely refers to this soldier:

The marriage took place on Friday, June 1, in London, of Elizabeth, daughter of Mrs. Baynes Coulthard, Toronto, to Mr. James Forgie, who went overseas with the 92nd Battalion, and was afterwards transferred to a Montreal Highland battalion, and who was in England on short leave. Miss Coulthard, who is a niece of Major Kilgour, was well known in Toronto as a famous horsewoman, having won many cups at the Toronto and New York Horse Shows. She went to England about a year ago, and has been doing V.A.D. work in the hospitals. Mrs. Coulthard is at present in England.
