Influenza pandemic.
Dandridge spent five months at the front with the 7th Battalion but was discharged as unfit (VD, debility and simplemindedness) in August 1918. Although he died just 3 months later VAC has ruled that he is not eligible for the Books of Remembrance or CVWM.
