Uploader's Notes:

One of about 400 wounded servicemen evacuated from Boulogne France on the hospital ship Anglia on November 17, 1915. At 12:30 the ship hit a mine which had been laid by a German submarine UC5, near Folkestone, Kent, England. The death toll varies but at least 124 were killed, most lost at sea. The wreck is considered a war grave now. All but 4 of the soldiers lost are listed on the Hollybrook Memorial, their bodies lost at sea.

Percy Geddes served in the New Zealand forces in South Africa.
