Uploader's Notes: CEF Burial Registers - Died - whilst proceeding by train to LA JOUX, on the morning of March 25th, 1918, he opened the door of the compartment in which he was travelling and accidentally fell out, sustaining a compound fracture, base of skull and vault of skull from which he died in Canadian Forestry Corps Hospital, LA JOUX, JURA, the following day. Court of Enquiry convened to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death, is of the opinion that it was purely accidental and that no blame can be attached to any person.
