Son of the late Andrew and Christina Robertson Crighton, of Dundee; husband of Jemima Irvine (formerly Crighton), of 45, Dens Rd., Dundee, Scotland.

Collector has named Victory medal and two Named Memorial Crosses. BWM missing.

David initially enlisted in the 73rd Battalion Canadian Infantry Reg No 132297 on 7 September 1915 and was discharged 1/10/1915. He was a separate service record on LAC under the number 132297.

Uploader's Research notes: Crighton was working as a butcher in the Canadian Army Hospital in Ramsgate,England when 15 Gotha bombers raided the area.Crighton was working in the kitchen of the hospital when he was killed.Although Crighton was in England,he is still listed as "killed in action". Research done by Pete Wood and inserted here by J.G. for 60th battalion reseachers.
