Son of Amon and Johanny Peterson of Grassy Lake, Alberta.

Died from pneumonia. A letter written by one of his fellow soldiers from the 113th Battalion (writer unknown) mentioned his death and being part of the burial procession. The writer stated Peterson's brother was present at the funeral. Letter published in the Lethbridge Daily Herald, December 8, 1916 edition, page 10.
