HAND Charles Henry, Private 466004, 31st Canadian Infantry. Born 11th May 1871 at Newcastle, Staffs to William and Ann and died 27th November 1917 aged 47. He was the husband of Mary Jane of 10, Leech Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme. In 1911 his mother was now a widow and she was living at 31, Hall Street, Newcastle, Charles for the same year was now married and was living at the address already stated. He was working at a potters placer. He is at rest in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Cemetery, Staffordshire.
