Per Part II Daily Order February 3, 1917 from 102nd Battalion, faced Court Martial on 9-1-1917 for "Neglect to the predjudice of good order & military discipline (negligently wounding himself in the left hand) and sentenced to 14 days Field Punishment #2." Sentence was confirmed 10-1-17.
