John Young (b.1873) of Vancouver, British Columbia, died 1919-04-15 at Shaughnessy hospital and is buried at Mountain View cemetery, Vancouver. Young had a difficult time at the front suffering from trench fever and something called trench shins. He was invalided home with nephritis and died of kidney and liver failure.
