Alfred Wellington Buckland, of The Rectory, New Carlisle, P.Q.,( who died 29 November 1932 and is buried with them at L 1440-E) and the late Maria Morrison Buckland.His step mother the late Annie O'Neil Buckland died shortly after he did at her home in New Carlise, Quebec on July 13, 1920. The next of Kin is his brother Albert E. Buckland and they lived at his father's home address of 1173 Deserable Street, Montreal, Quebec in 1918. Gilbert Victor Buckland died of influenza and double pneumonia on 29 September 1918 at the St. John's Military Hospital in Montreal Quebec. Gilbert Victor Buckland formerly lived at White River Junction, United Sates of America and was a locomotive Engineer. Sapper Buckland was buried 1October 1918 in the Mount Royal Cemetery at location L1440-E next to his stepmother Annie O'Neil Buckland who is located in L 1440-F. Annie and Gilbert Victor Buckland share the same Mount Royal Cemetery tombstone.
Uploader's Research notes: Sapper Gilbert Victor Buckland joined the Canadian Engineers at Montreal on 14 May 1918, was injured and was unable to recover in England so was shipped back home to Montreal (St Johns Military Hospital).Gilbert V. Buckland died of influenza and broncho pneumonia on 29 September 1918 and was buried in the Mount Royal cemetery at Montreal, Quebec. Sapper Gilbert Victor Buckland was 25 years old and overweight.
