Uploader's Notes: George Crinklaw (possibly Krinklaw) was born in Athelstan, but moved out west with his family. He served in France and Belgium for slightly over a year and was killed on the first day of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. The 31st had one of the toughest tasks of the battle, attacking towards Hill 145, the highest and most heavily fortified portion of the ridge.
