Husband of Mabel Creser (nee Hilliard, later Wright) of 439 Clinton Street, Toronto, Ontario. The Cresers had three small children, the oldest of which was 8 years of age at the time Creser died. Mabel remarried to Thomas Henry Wright on Septmber 18, 1918
Private Creser was killed in a freak lightning storm that struck the Brigade on June 2, 1916 at Queenston, Ontario, while the Brigade was on a route march from Niagara Camp. 45 other soldiers were severely injured in that storm.
