Uploader's Notes: Private Arthur Ricard was born in December, 1893 in Huntingdon, Quebec, the son of Eli Ricard and Mary Dumont. He was conscripted late in the war and was likely seeing his first action in the battle of Cambrai, the last major battle the Canadian Forces engaged in during the war. He was likely wounded in action sometime around the 12th of October, and died of his wounds on the 17th. For his actions Private Ricard was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.
