Uploader's Notes:

Son of Samuel Gaunt and Ruth Elizabeth Gaunt (nee Lupton) of 12 Southview, Yeadon, Yorkshire England

Spelling of name may have been Thomas Lupton Gaunt. Mothers maiden name was Ruth Lupton (from June Brook, Sept, 2008). Also from June Brook:

Thomas Lupton Gaunt is remembered at our local cemetery in Yeadon on the gravestone of his parents, Samuel and Ruth Gaunt. The inscription reads that he died on 7th November 1917 and was interred 'Poperinge, Belgium'. He had emigrated to Canada in 1912 to find work in textiles. Yeadon used to be a thriving mill town and he had worked as a Dyer at one of the mills. For various reasons at the time there was much unemployment so quite a few people responded to adverts encouraging emigration.
