Uploader's Research notes: "Killed" (Accidental) Was attending a class for instruction in bomb throwing and was in the bombing "T" with the officer and non-commissioned officer in charge of the class. He had thrown one bomb in the regulation manner and was throwing the second when it exploded just as it left his hand, causing his death by shrapnel wounds in the head and neck.
