Uploader's Research notes: Note that there is some confusion about Service No. 424074. It also appears on the Attestation paper of Edward Walker Service No. 424245. It appears that Ernest William Walker may also have been issued Service No. 424226, but this number does not appear anywhere other than on the Attestation paper. Although Ernest William Walker's name does not appear on the 45th Battalion Nominal Roll, it appears that he mobilized to England with them. It could have been the confusion with the Service No. that caused the omission on the Nominal Roll [Private Army Canadian Infantry 45th Battalion Private Army Canadian Infantry 32nd Reserve Battalion Private Army Canadian Infantry 5th Battalion ]
