Son of Archibald Cameron and Agnes Margaret Cameron (nee Barwick); younger brother of Lt.-Colonel Kenneth Cameron, MD

Joined the P.P.C.L.I. in August 1914 (an original)

Killed during the limited counter-attack (west of the mound) St Eloi 15 Mar 1915. The troops were lying out in the open and in extended line in No Man's Land. As the Patricia's stood up to charge, a German machine gun on the mound opened up.
