Circumstances of Death Card
"Killed in Action"
Was with his Company in the front line trenches near St. Eloi on April 10, 1916. During the evening he volunteered to help one of the stretcher bearers in his duties and on the way along the ground a shell landed near them instantly killing Private Hulme.
