JAMES R. DAVIDSON

who was killed in action on Nov. 6. In April, 1916, he was wounded in the lung, but returned to the front in August, 1916. Prior to the war he was employed as a motorman with the B.C. Electric, and was a member of the 72nd pipe band. He leaves a widow, Mrs. J. Davidson, 5162 Elgin street, and a small baby daughter, 8 months old, whom he never saw. Mrs. Davidson's father is with the Imperial forces, but owing to his age, 56 years, has not been allowed to go to the front, and is training troops at one of the many depots in Scotland. Her two brothers were killed, Sergt. J. L. Campbell on Sept. 26, 1916, and Vernon Campbell in November, 1914, while serving with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. Her youngest brother, Peter Campbell, is a cororal and is at present at the front. He is only 20 years old, and before the war was an apprentice in The Sun's printing department.
