Uploader's Notes: The 124th Pioneer Battalion had to build gun platforms in the mud of Passchendaele....throughout the battle they had to maintain the roads leading to the guns to keep the ammunition moving forward.....during this task they were under constant observation of the enemy and were heavily shelled.....Pioneer Goggin may have met his death on that road
