Joesph Wesley Johnson - his family name is really spelt Johnston. For some reason it was spelt in error. So he signed his name as Johnson, as it appeared on his Atttestion Papers.

[Private Army Canadian Infantry 52nd Battalion A Company, Lewis Gun Section Wesley was hit in the abodmen by a fragment of high explosive shell, during a trench raid on the night of September 4 th/ 5th. He died of his wounds September 7th, 1917. ]
