Uploader's Notes: Prior military service with Sharpshooters. Son of Edwin and Eleanor Bristow, of London, England. CEF Burial Registers - this soldier was wounded in the thigh by a rifle bullet, accidentally discharged by a comrade, while cleaning his rifle in a dugout in the front line at Hill 70. He was given immediate attention and evacuated to No. 1 Canadian Casualty Clearing Station where he succumbed to his wounds.
