Dunn, of Geddeston Cottage, Avoch, Ross-shire, Scotland.78th War Diary mentions there was a raid on the Germans near Kennedy Crater February 22/23 and it is presummed Pte. Dunn was wounded and died on March 1st, 1917. It was probably for this action that he was Mentioned in Dispatches
