Prior military service with Queen's Own Rifles of Canada; and, 103rd Regiment, Calgary Rifles. On May 11, 1916, while the Battalion was in Brigade support, an enemy shell struck the stables at Bedford House causing several casualties including Cpl. Clack who was killed.
