HERO WAS A PARKDALE BOY
Pte. Robt. F. McLuckie Officially Reported "Killed in Action."

Pte. Robert F. McLuckie, of 50 Harvard avenue, youngest son, of Mr. and Mrs. Peter McLuckie, has been killed in action. Word was received from Ottawa Tuesday.

Pte. McLuckie, enlisted last July with the McGill University draft to reinforce the Princess Patricias. He was born in Toronto, 20 years ago and was educated at Parkdale Collegiate. He was also a member of the High Park Athletic Club and a member of the 1914 team of Parkdale Collegiate. He was going to school when he enlisted. Pte. McLuckie was one of Parkdale's brightest young men and was a member of Cowan Avenue Presbyterian Church.
