RESEARCH INFORMATION

CVWM ID: No CVWM ID in our database, but try this.
CWGC ID: 497186
Uploader's Notes:

Son of James E. and Vinnie A. Fraser, of Springhill, Nova Scotia.

This man had previously served for 1 year in the Corps of Guides.

This man was listed as wounded in the battalion war diary on or about 28th October 1917 and since that point there is no further mention of him. It is very likely he was taken to the Etaples area due to the wound as this was an area with many Military Hospitals and shortly after died there due to the wounds.

Uploader's Research notes: Info from the attestation papers and the 85th Battalion war diary. This man is on the CWGC site. [Lieutenant Army Canadian Infantry 85th Battalion A ]
