Wound reported in war diary December 1915 Vol 4 P 7.
The war diary states that this man was wounded on June 13, 1916 in the Battle of Mount Sorrel. The location he is buried at was a large hospital complex just north of Boulogne. It is highly likely that he was evacuated to hospital and died of his wounds there.
Uploader's Research notes: info from the attestation papers and the war diary. This man is on the CWGC site. [Private Army Canadian Infantry 31st Battalion C Company ]
