Uploader's Notes: From the Huntingdon Gleaner, April 29, 1917: Pioneer Thos. Douglas Price, Huntingdon, Killed in Action. He was a carpenter by trade and worked here.. He was from England, and so far as known leaves no near relatives. He was killed with Lt. Norsworthy and Pte. Roberts when a shell hit the Battalion Orderly Room.
CEF Burial Registers - Killed in Action. While on business in the Orderly Room of the Battalion, which was situated in a dugout in Cobourg Trench near Vimy Ridge, an enemy shell struck the roof of the dugout caving it in and burying Private Price in the debris. A rescue party was at once put to work, but on reaching him, he was found to be dead, his back having been broken.
