Uploader's Notes: Noel Cecil Sarson was the foster-son of Thomas and Elizabeth Williams, of Odyn House (Ty nol i'r Odyn dairy farm), Rhuddlan, Flintshire, Wales, UK. Foster sister to Lizzie, Annie and Jayne. His natural parents were a Canadian doctor and a nurse. Noel is listed on Rhuddlan's war memorial alongside other Welsh soldiers from the village. Noel served, however, with the 4th Battalion (Central Ontario Regiment). Attestation papers - Canadian Over-seas Expeditionary Force - 18 years and 6 months at enlistment, killed in action aged 20. Hazel coloured eyes, dark brown hair and complexion fair.
