Husband of Letitia M. Tupper, of Bridgetown, Annapolis Co., Nova Scotia.

Killed in action at Courcelette by artillery fire, described in the war diary for that day as the heaviest "it has been anyones lot to see". His death is noted on the 17th but it also notes that it was not possible to estimate casualties on the 16th. The 25th was spending these days consolidating their lines. Listed on the Nominal Roll of the 25th Battalion as a Captain.
