Husband of Mildred Florence Cooke, of 57, Laitwood Rd., Balham, London, England.
His uninterred body was discovered by the 124th Pioneer Battalion on April 21, 1917, while clearing on Souchez Road, 400 yds outside the Cite de Gaumont. He was found with his identity disc, revolver, watch and 10 French Francs, which were sent to the O.C. 27th Battalion.
