Uploader's Notes: Canadian Bank of Commerce RoH: Born 18th February, 1895, at Stuarton Petty, Scotland. Father, Archibald Cameron, Writer (deceased). Educated at Inverness High School. Entered the service of the Bank, 13th September, 1912. Enlisted, January, 1918, from Superintendent's Department, Winnipeg, and subsequently joined the 16th (Canadian Scottish) Battalion, in France, with the rank of Private. Killed in Action, 1st October, 1918.

Note: While with his Battalion, advancing on an enemy position, and near the final objective, Private Cameron was hit by an enemy machine-gun bullet and instantly killed.
