Uploader's Notes: CEF Burial Registers - Died of Wounds - during the attack and advance from the vicinity of Villers Bretonneux to East of Meharicourt on August 9th, 1918, he was wounded in the abdomen by a machine gun bullet. After being immediately dressed by a medical officer, he was evacuated to No. 48 Casualty Clearing Station where he succumbed to his wounds the following day. Commissioned and served with 14th Battalion prior to 22nd Battalion.
