CEF Burial Registers - Died of Wounds. While his Battalion lay in reserve at Beaufort Wood, about 9.30 a.m. on August 15th 1918, he was wounded by shrapnel in the right arm, right leg and neck. He was carried to the Regimental Aid Post and from there evacuated to No. 47 Casualty Clearing Station, where he succumbed to his wounds the following day.
