PTE. DAVID CAMPBELL

The many friends of Pte. David Campbell will regret to hear of his death. His parents have been notified by the war office that he was killed in action on Oct. 30. He enlisted with the 172nd battalion but was transferred to another unit for the front. He was gassed on June 30 and only went back to his battalion a few weeks ago. He was well known to all footballers as he was a goalkeeper of note. His father, John Campbell, lives in Kerrisdale.
